WHY I LOVE IT: This place has been very special for me and my family for the past 12 years considering we are all obsessed with sailing! We call it our second home since we always spend a big part of our summer here. Göcek Bay actually has more than 200 bays and many islands in itself, so it’s quite difficult to get bored there! It really is one of the most beautiful gems you can visit in the Mediterranean Coast. Even though the town itself is quite small, it has many lovely boutiques and restaurants to offer. My personal favorite things to do before we sail away is always to go on Kaftan hunting in the local stores and to visit the local farmer’s markets to get some fresh fruits, especially figs!
